When I speak to a new client, I always ask about their sleep.

Sleep is vital to everything else, the ability of all mental and physical processes to function properly. It is the foundation of a healthy mind and body. Without it, we know about it.

Insufficient sleep can increase risk of cardiovascular disease, weight gain, depression, cognitive performance, to mention just a few.

Treating sleep problems with medications comes with its own set of risks and limitations so finding a natural way to retrain sleep patterns should be part of the solution. Acupuncture is shown to regulate hormones, calm the central nervous system and reduce anxiety and over thinking. These can play a key role in establishing better sleep.
